Do you fit in?
Do you fit in your social support group?
Do you fit in your parent’s expectation box?
Do you fit in a world that loves average endeavours? Not too much, yet not too little…
Do you fit in a world where being average is considered being stable?
Do you fit in a world where success is synonymous to bank balance?
Do you fit in a world where you are supposed to live for others?
Do you fit in a world that’s too comfortable to entertain changes?
Do you fit in a world that tells you to be polite and gentle to some ancient fictions?
Do you fit in a world that forbid you to argue because it’s impolite?
Do you fit in a world where you are supposed to respect someone because of their age, not wisdom?
Do you fit in a world that hushes you because you are talking sex aloud?
Do you fit in a world where nudity is abhorred in public but only enjoyed in private?
Do you fit in a world where you are not supposed to report rape?
Do you fit in a world that funds research to find the truth, yet rejects the truth based on political agenda?
Do you fit in a world where earth can be flat?
Do you fit in a world where billionaires are astronauts?
Do you fit in a world that takes tear for weakness?
Do you fit in a world that doesn’t talk about mental illness?
Do you fit in a world that shows you pity because you are going to a therapy?
Do you fit in a world where you are selfish if you enjoy solitude a bit too much?
Do you fit in a world that teaches you to love, but only if you’re straight?
Do you fit in a world where love has to be expressed, not endured?
Do you fit in a world where romanticism is tied to a contract paper called marriage?
Do you fit in a world where you “have to” celebrate your love by inviting people to a wedding ceremony?
Do you fit in a world where your wedding ceremony has to be an instagram sensation?
Do you fit in a world where marriage is the only institution to raise children?
Do you fit in a world where you are expected to raise children?
Do you fit in a world where you are allowed to love only once?
Do you fit in a world where you are allowed to love only one?
Do you fit in a world where you don’t celebrate failures?
Do you fit in a world where you “have to” celebrate success?
If you do, I am happy for you. This world must be very nice to you.
